The Highlands

Picture
About this Project

I did this drawing 5 years ago when I was 11. This picture was drawn in a canvas with oil paintings. This picture represents the Highlands and the mountains. The colors and tones used in this project are green tones with some brownish tones as well. This drawing as we can see involves many techniques of paintings because for the bushes and for the tree I used like dots with the paintbrush, for the sky I used waves, in the river I used straight horizontal lines while in the waterfall i used straight vertical lines.

Reflection

This is my most precious art work and the one I like the most. This is because it was done in a canvas and it was done with oil painting. I love this drawing because I think that ir amazing how the techniques mix and create the feeling of the textures in the drawing and they really represent what I wanted to express. Another thing is that I like the blending of colors and how they create different ambiances and how they create the different textures and how they represent nature as it is.

Ecuador in a Drawing

Picture
About this Project

I did this project 6 years ago when I was 10 years old. For me this project is a really important one because it mixes all the parts of Ecuador. It mixes the mountains, with the island, the beach and the jungle. For me the mountains represent the highlands in Ecuador even though they are green they represent this. The island is represented as we can see in the bottom of the drawing and it represents the Galapagos islands in Ecuador. The beach is represented in the bottom of the mountains at the edge of the sea and finally the jungle is represented in the mountains. This project was done with acrylic painting in a cardboard. As we can see the colors are really vivid to creade this feeling of emotion and happiness.\

Reflection

This project is a really nice one because of everything it represents to me. This project was my first art work and it was done when I was 10 years old. This drawing represents every aspect of Ecuador and it really represents what I wanted to transmit through this picture which was emotion, happiness,  and the feeling of proudness of Ecuador. In conclusion, this is a really precious drawing for me because it represents all the regions of my country, Ecuador

About this Project

This was a project I did 5 years ago when I was 11 years old. I did this project with my private art teacher when I had class. This project as wee can see is a snowy and cold project. It is done with cold colors such as blue, white, purple and some green. This project was done with this colors to create the cold aspect and to create the cold feeling in the person that sees this project. It is a winter representation of a cabin near some trees. We can see there is a forest in the back and some mountains with a greenish tone. We can also see the sky that is kind of light purple to create the snowy aspect. This project was done in a cardboard with acrylic painting.

Reflection

I felt really good when drawing this project because I think that it was really fun to represent the snow and this weather in an art work. Another thing was that when I was done with this art work I felt really proud of me because I thought it was really nice and it represents what I was feeling about the ambience and what I wanted to express while doing this drawing. Another thing is that I think that the colors used in this project are well chosen and really fit and create the ambience the picture wants to represent.
